Close Encounters is available in softcover for $10.00 from So New Media, an independent press out of Eugene, Oregon, who publishes emerging web-based writers. By web-based, we mean authors who may have gotten their training wheels publishing work online as opposed to print journals or writing programs. So New is proud to include Neal Pollack, David Barringer, Jackie Corley, Savannah Schroll-Guz, and Amy Guth among their authors.

You can also buy Close Encounters from Amazon, but it’s more expensive and Amazon sucks. You can also get it at Target online. It’s also available in some of the independent bookstores here in Baltimore (Minas, Baltimore Chop, Normals). If you want Close Encounters in your bookstore, hassle your store managers.
