In City Sages: Baltimore (CityLit Press) are of some of Baltimore's best writers, including both famous and not-yet-famous scribes, both dead and alive, gathered by editor Jen Michalski. Writers include Edgar Allan Poe, Gertrude Stein, Zora Neal Hurston, Frederick Douglass, and F. Scott Fitzgerald; contemporary writers include Laura Lippman, Anne Tyler, Madison Smartt Bell, Michael Kimball, Alice McDermott, and Rafael Alvarez. Sage writers Jen Grow and Jen Michalski host an evening with a line-up of readings and performances by Sage writers, including Geoff Becker, Michael Kimball, and others. 7pm. $5 mbrs.
