Jen Michalski (author of Close Encounters, editor of jmww, and cohost of 510 Readings) is your guide in the quest to craft the perfect short story! In 6 weeks you’ll write, workshop, and revise a short story. Along the way, explore character, point of view, setting, and voice, in addition to current fiction markets and the dos and don’ts of submissions. By the end, you’ll have a story ready to mail to the publishing giants. (Stamps not included.) Note: No class Wed Feb 2. 7-9pm.
