In the Woods Day 3
I got a pivotal part of the novel worked out today. Very excited! That happened, and a lot of air guitar courtesy of iPod shuffle. It thundered and sprinkled in the mountains; even now thunder rumbles in the distance. I wonder if this was what they were talking about when they said this area was part of a temperate rainforest.
I hear this animal at night that sounds like a baby rattle, but it is not a rattlesnake. It wounds more like rice in a rattle. I guess I should have really read those Ranger Rick magazines growing up instead of looking at all the pictures of cute animals. I have already had a few weird dreams in the cabin. I hope they don't get any weirder.
