Thrilled to see my story, "Azrael at the Starbucks," at Forge Literary Magazine. As I explained in the accompanying interview with publisher john Haggerty, "Sometimes we fall into a deep sleep in our lives, and sometimes it is an unlikely person who wakes us up from it." 

There was what she knew—that she and her husband had sent Jason to the best schools, bought him the finest clothes, two sports cars, countless stints in rehab—and what she didn’t know—why he threw it all away, time and time again. Why he hated her. Why she still cared.
