I had a great time talking with Tessa Yang over about Barrelhouse Mag about our latest collections of fiction (The Runaway Restaurant for Tessa and The Company of Strangers for me):

I think it also calls into question how well we can really know each other—does my partner of 20 or 30 years really love me? Did they experience an unrequited love from a coworker in year 15? In some ways, we are always in the company of strangers, I think.
